Getting There

• Fly to Townsville direct from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Cairns

• Drive to Townsville from the Whitsunday Coast or Cairns

• Regular passenger and car ferries connect Townsville to Magnetic Island. Rides are from 25 - 40 minutes with more information available on the Fantasea and Sealink

• Travellers staying on Magnetic Island with the Magnetic Group receive complimentary harbour (Nelly Bay) to door transfers

 

Getting Around

•  On Magnetic Island you can hire a car, book a taxi, or take the local bus. There are also a number of scooters, bikes, segways and mini-mokes available
